SPIN Class
SPIN = SPecial INterest
SPIN classes are assigned based on your interest and your Japanese level.
SPIN classes change every 6 weeks.
The offered classes are separated into 4 categories:
Language Focus
Examples:
Japanese Alphabet:
ひらがな／カタカナのことばを読んだり、
なまえ・くに・すきなものなどを書くことができます。
Read and write hiragana/katakana words such as names, countries, and favorite things.
Vocabulary:場面や場所に関することばや使い方がわかります。
Learn useful words and practice how to use them with a variety of different topics.
ex) 自然nature、まんがmanga、歴史history、レシピrecipe
Kanji:日常生活に必要な漢字を読む・かくことができます。
Classes are taught using source material that is scaled to the JLPT N5 to N3.
Reading in Everyday Life:日本で見るサインや説明ができます。
Understand signs and notices in Japan and be able to take appropriate action.
ex) 薬medicine、食品表示food labelling、旅行パンフレットguide book
Daily Communication:日常生活に必要な会話が できます。
For Intensive Course Students. Develop speaking and communication abilities through weekly themes.
e.g. 学校in school, カジュアルcasual conversation, 敬語(polite way)
Pronunciation:発音
Improve your pronunciation and intonation to sound more natural and confident in Japanese conversations.

A1 Grammar: Starter(まるごとピンク)の文法がもっとよくわかります

For Intensive Course Students. Understand the characteristics of JLPT reading comprehension questions and prepare for the exam.

Listening & Anime:
J-popやアニメをつかって、場面に合った自然な日本語がわかります。
Learn new words through J-pop and anime, and be able to understand natural Japanese in anime scenes.
Basic /creative Writing:いいたいことを 文にします。
Express yourself through writing in different media such as diary entries, books, and manga.
Experience:教室の外で、より自然な にほんごが話せるようになります。
Cultivate your language skills through interviewees and experiences with rea-life situations.

Learning Japanese with Games:ゲーム中の会話やルール
For Intensive Course Students. Communicate in Japanese to learn the rules of, discuss, and play games.
Calligraphy: 書道
Practice elegantly handwriting Hiragana and Kanji through experiencing the Japanese art of calligraphy.
