ACTIVITIES

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES, SCHOOL EVENTS, ACADEMIC EVENTS...!
In addition to classes, we organize activities to assist students in using Japanese daily, while also discovering the beauty of Japan. We have activities almost every day. Some examples are experiencing Japanese cuisine, walking through famous parts of Tokyo, visiting interesting cafes, or venturing out of Tokyo on the weekends. Once a month, we organize excursions to other cities such as Osaka and Kyoto, and also to Seoul, Korea.

OUR FAQS
HOW DO I JOIN ACTIVITIES?
Sign up for activities as early as 2 weeks before your start date by checking our EF Connect app. Our activity board is also updated every week with the upcoming activities, so you can check it out on your way to class.
WHAT ARE CREDITS?
Credit is the EF currency for activities. In Japan, 1 credit = 1 JPY. You can purchase credits through the app with your credit card, or at the reception desk with cash.
CAN I SKIP CLASS TO JOIN AN ACTIVITY?
Unfortunately, the answer is no. Your priority should be classes. If you have already signed up for an activity but realize you have class, please cancel your registration and/or inform your Activity Coordinator.
HOW DO I CANCEL AN ACTIVITY?
Once you have booked an activity, it will appear in the "My Booked Activities" tab. You can cancel the activity by going to the activity in this tab and scroll down to the cancel button. Please make sure to cancel before the deadline to get a refund.
CAN I SUGGEST AN ACTIVITY?
Of course! We love to hear suggestions and recommendations from our students for new activity ideas. In fact, a lot of our activities are based on requests from students. There's an Activity Wishbox at the front desk where you can put in your activity requests. You can also speak directly to the Activity Coordinator!
